A social network is a social structure made of nodes (which are generally individuals or organizations) that are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as values, visions, ideas, financial exchange, friends, kinship, dislike, conflict, trade, web links or airline routes.
Social network sites are everywhere and today's youth are spending a great deal of time using these sites to access personal or professional life. New social technologies have altered the underlying architectures of social interaction and information distribution.
 Community Sites
We incorporate the following features - interface and back-end - in the community website:
- Incorporated Wordpress, Blogware to the community website.
- We have successfully incorporated Official community message board for support, discussion, and interaction with the Core Team with Joomla Open Source.
- Dynamic Video Player - Playing video in our own player, which converts the video file to flv format and then displays the output in our own developed video player.
- Widgets - Widgets are a class of client-side web application for displaying and/or updating local or remote data, packaged in a way to allow a single download and installation on a client machine or device. Examples include clocks, stock tickers, newscasters, games and weather forecasters.
- Event Management System - We are working on several types of calendar to manage events for different types of industries.

What is community?
The aggregate of persons with common characteristics such as geographic, professional, cultural, racial, religious, or socio-economic similarities. Communities can be defined by location, race, ethnicity, age, occupation, interest in particular problems or outcomes, or other common bonds.
Tools for building social network
- Forums - Forums are online user groups that give users a chance to research questions or ask their own.
- Blogs - A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order.
- Wiki - A website or similar online resource which allows users to add and edit content collectively.
- RSS (Really simple syndication) - An XML-based system for aggregating and rapidly scanning information from blogs, news and current event Web sites, and other Web sites that update content frequently.
