Ajax, Adobe Flash, Flex, and OpenLaszlo technologies are used to Rich Internet Applications (RIA).
- AJAX
AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML is the newest buzzword in web development. Utilizing a client-side XMLHTTPRequest object, HTML, JavaScript and CSS, you can replace the page refresh that has (up until a few months ago) been a mandatory part of posting data back to a web server.
We used AJAX to build rich validation form and web-calendar for our client’s projects – "guitar.com", and "palopia.com".

RSS family of web feed formats. The initials "RSS" are variously used to refer to the following standards:
1) Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
2) Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0)
3) RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
RSS formats are specified in XML (a generic specification for data formats). RSS delivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed", "webfeed", "RSS stream", or "RSS channel".
We have customized "simplepie" feed aggregator in some of our projects to read news feeds.

- SOAP
SOAP (originally Simple Object Access Protocol) is a protocol for exchanging XML-based messages over a computer network, normally using HTTP. SOAP forms the foundation layer of the Web services stack, providing a basic messaging framework that more abstract layers can build on.
We are currently developing a desktop application that uses SOAP classes to pull and submit back the data to an online serves.
